Tim came to Palm Springs in 1992 as the GM of the Rivera Hotel, which he ran for 5 years. He bought Tuscany Manor and started a small hotel management company for 4 years. Tim is currently the GM of the Palm Mountain Resort. He has been there 7 years. He is currently Vice President of the Palm Springs Hospitality Association and Past Chair. He is Chairman of the Palm Springs Desert Resorts CVA. Tim has served on the Palm Springs Chamber Board of Directors since 2005.

Valerie is a Registered Client Service Associate with UBS Financial Services, and has been active in the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce since January 2003. Her business contacts have steadily grown through Chamber participation. Valerie has served on several Chamber committees and has chaired the ATHENA Committee and the Ambassador Committee. Valerie has been on the Board of Directors since 2005.

Valerie moved to the Coachella Valley ten years ago with her partner in life and business, Tim Scott. They live in a 75-year old house with their rose-breasted cockatoo, The Doo.

Steven is a graduate of Concordia College (Minnesota). He joined MMGC in 2002 and became Partner in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, he was an audit specialist with Deloitte & Touche in Minneapolis, MN. He also spent three years with Northwest Airlines as a manager of corporate accounting and reporting. He has significant experience assisting business clients with all aspects of their financial operations, specifically tax and business planning as well as audit and accounting services. Steve currently serves as a director and treasurer with the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce and as a director of Angel View Crippled Children's Foundation. He is also a member of the Palm Springs Hospitality Association; served on the board of Greater Palm Springs Pride from 2002-2003 and is a graduate of Leadership Coachella Valley, Class of 2003-2004.

Kathi received her B.A from Michigan State University in 1973. She and her husband Larry, a local CPA, moved to Palm Springs in 1975 where she started her banking career with Security Pacific National Bank. She is currently the branch manager for the Rabobank office in Palm Springs. Kathi has been actively involved in various organizations within the Coachella Valley. She is currently on the board of directors for the Palm Springs Sunup Rotary, the Mizell Senior Center and the Palm Springs Economic Development Corporation as well as a member of the Women Leaders Forum of the Coachella Valley.

Her hobbies include golfing, cooking and reading.

Becky is a Corporate Account Manager with OfficeMax ImPress. She graduated with a BS from Fairmont State University in Fairmont, West Virginia. She is a Leadership Coachella Valley graduate, and a member of California Inland Counties American Marketing Association, American Society Training and Development (ASTD), United Professional Sales Association, and Women Leaders Forum of the Coachella Valley. As a former member of Dover Delaware Business and Professional Women, she served as President and was selected as Woman of the Year. This is Becky's second term on the board.

Andrew Starke has been the sole owner and President of the Palm Springs POWER since it's creation in the fall of 2003. The POWER organization run sporting events at Palm Springs Stadium such as tournaments and clinics along with operating our two Palm Springs baseball franchises, the winter CHILL franchise and the summer POWER franchise. Andrew started the company from the ground up, he has seen the company grow at a rapid pace to current employment of over fifty full and part-time staff. Currently, he serves as a board member for the Parks and Recreation Commission for the City of Palm Springs and accepted the 2007 Palm Springs Small Business of the Year award presented in June by the Chamber of Commerce and City of Palm Springs. Prior to owning the POWER, Mr. Starke worked for such sports organizations as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Orlando Magic, University of Central Florida and the Long Beach Strikers. On the field, he was a four-year scholarship baseball player graduating from Mercer University in Macon, Ga. where he earned his degree in Business Administration. Throughout college, he not only earned All-Conference honors on the field, but also was a member of the Atlantic Sun Academic All-Conference Team. Mr. Starke is a full time resident here in Palm Springs and looks forward to keeping baseball here at Palm Springs Stadium for many years to come. This is Andrew's first elected term to the Board after a one year appointment.

Mr. Daniels currently serves as Associate Administrator, Planning & Development at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California, where he is responsible for strategic planning, clinical product line development, physician recruitment, decision support & analytics, marketing, public relations, and outreach activities. He is currently a member of various Boards of Directors, including the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, Coachella Valley Economic Partnership (CVEP), and Mizell Senior Center, and served as Event Chair for the 2009 American Heart Association Gala in the Coachella Valley.

Mr. Daniels has been actively involved over the past 24 years in the development and turnaround of hospitals, physician networks, and managed care organizations. His experience in strategic planning, medical staff development, clinical product lines, contract negotiations and marketing has helped hospitals and physicians across the country to achieve business goals. Mr. Daniels has directed major projects involving business planning, joint venture formation, financial restructuring, new construction, operations assessments, and customer service improvements; and has led efforts to implement best practices to improve healthcare delivery.

Mr. Daniels attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he majored in Economics.

Born & educated in Canada, Clancy graduated from the University of Manitoba, Brandon, with a BA in Theater/Film. He is married to one of The Paris Sisters (who garnered multiple Gold records), has one son and has resided in the US for 30 years while holding a Canadian passport.

He began his career as a personal manager and developed the careers of many well-known artists -- especially in the music field. Clancy soon created Inphasion Records, a recording company, which he sold to CBS, along with his six music-publishing companies.

Clancy began his production experience with live shows and concerts, one of which, The Latin Quarter, won several awards while playing the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas. He then went on to learn film production under the aegis of Roger Corman and New World Productions. Since then, he has produced fifteen feature films in seven different countries, and was nominated for an Academy Award for the documentary, Rebel In Paradise: The Life of Paul Guaguin.

As Vice President of Wells Fargo Bank, Clancy helped establish the Entertainment Industries Division, pioneering the use of service contracts as loan collateral. Also during this time he began the creation of a real estate portfolio for himself with his emphasis on strip mall development, and the buying, improving and selling of single-family residences. He also passed the RE exams and procured a license to sell.

He has produced in excess of 300 television shows, among them The Tom Jones and The Paul Anka series of variety shows, as well as a cooking series with one of Canada’s most visible culinary talents, Umberto Menghi. Clancy is the President and CEO of American Classics Canada Ltd., a Canadian Corporation specializing in “content programming” for Canadian Content films and television for Canadian and worldwide outlets. He is a co-founder of the Valley International Film Festival (VIFFI).

A long-standing member of the Producers Guild of America, Clancy served as the producer for their prestigious annual Golden Laurel Awards that honored Sherry Lansing, Jerry Bruckheimer and Aaron Spelling. He is currently a member of NARAS, IFP West, PGA, and ATAS and has qualified for the DGA.

Having moved to Palm Springs, Mr. Grass is currently a member of the Chamber of Commerce (where he chairs the Entertainment Industries Committee), is a Board member for the Walk of Stars, has a new cooking show written for television, is developing a live theater piece based upon the history of the Cahuilla Indians called “Spirit Theater” and is in the initial stages of planning a multi-studio, film and television development for the Palm Springs area.

Don owns two home-based businesses. He is a Referring Travel Agent with YourTravelBiz. All travel and many other related services can be booked or purchased on his site. He works also as a Wellness/Nutrition Consultant, offering health and nutrition evaluations as well as a wide choice of high quality supplements through Unicity International. In addition, Don works as a Museum Interpreter for the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, located in the Village Green in downtown Palm Springs. He is a retired history professor/college administrator with four academic degrees, lastly an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from UCLA. He moved to Palm Springs five years ago. He has been a Chamber member for four years, joining the Ambassadors shortly thereafter. Don is serving currently in his second term as Ambassador Chair.
