I had an amazing dining experience last night at Lulu California Bistro in downtown Palm Springs.  The winemaker dinner featured wine from Rombauer Vineyards and was hosted by Dan Redman, Pacific Southwest Regional Manager for Rombauer Vineyards.  The menu was exquisite, watercress salad, beef tenderloin, slow roasted duck and a fabulous dessert, pear and almond tart with vanilla ice cream.  The four courses were paired with wine perfectly selected to compliment the meal.  The restaurant was beautiful, the room was intimate and the meal was not only delicious, but educational.  It is amazing how selecting the proper wine for each course makes all the difference!  If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of Lulu limited seating winemaker dinners, you must go.
