Ask the Experts

“ASK THE EXPERTS” @ THE PAVILION
Maximizing Impact & Engagement for PALM SPRINGS AI and CREATIVITY EXPO 2025
Strategic Imperative: Why “Ask the Experts” is Central to Our Expo’s Success

The PALM SPRINGS AI and CREATIVITY EXPO 2025 (June 23) is designed as a “One-Day Expo Exploring the Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Our Lives and How it Can Empower our Community.” Our core mission is to demystify AI, foster genuine understanding, and empower our diverse community – from residents and students to businesses and creative artists.

To achieve this, we are strategically shifting focus towards more direct and personalized engagement. While keynote presentations and focused 45-minute breakout learning sessions provide crucial foundational knowledge, the “Ask the Experts” @ The Pavilion is a cornerstone of the attendee experience. It’s where the broader themes of the Expo translate into individual “aha!” moments and practical takeaways.

The “Ask the Experts” stations in The Pavilion are designed to offer:

• Deeper Learning: Allow attendees to explore questions sparked in sessions in a more granular, conversational way.
• Provide Personalized Value: Offer tailored advice and insights that general sessions cannot always provide.
• Foster Genuine Dialogue: Create a dynamic environment for interaction, moving beyond passive listening.
• Enhance Event ROI for Attendees: By making experts highly accessible, we significantly increase the practical value of attending.

This interactive hub is intentionally placed and timed to complement the structured program, turning passive learning into active engagement and creating a vibrant central point for the Expo.

“Ask the Experts” – The Experience Explained:

• What It Is? A dedicated zone within The Pavilion (lobby of the Palm Springs Convention Center) where attendees can directly interact with a curated group of specialists in AI, technology, business, and the creative arts.
• How It Works:

Small Group Discussions: Experts will be stationed at (tall) tables with chairs to facilitateinformal, engaging conversations with small groups of attendees.
Diverse Expertise Clusters: Experts will be grouped by key themes (e.g., AI for Business, AI in Creative Arts, Ethical AI, Lifestyle usage AI, etc.). The exact subject or theme areas are TBD and will be added to the Program Schedule.
Easy Navigation (Themes and Colored ID System): Attendees (and potentially experts) will use a colored system. This visual cue will help attendees quickly identify experts whose specialties align with their specific questions or interests. Signage will also guide
attendees.

When It Happens: The “Ask the Experts” experience will be active in The Pavilion during dedicated blocks throughout the day to maximize accessibility:

∘ Morning Networking (serving Coffee & Pastries)
∘ Afternoon Network Reception and Student Creative Reviews
