Our hospital – Eisenhower Medical Center – is renowned for advanced care, individualized service, and an exceptional patient experience.

But today, the Eisenhower name stands for much more than just the hospital we opened in 1971. With primary care, urgent care centers, multispecialty health centers, and specialized programs across the valley, we now offer residents health care support for every need, from education and prevention to diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. We provide customized care for men, women, members of our LGBTQ community, and more. And we’ve added physicians, online access, and community events to enhance convenience and access for all.

It’s all part of our ongoing effort to be a care partner for our communities, in sickness and in health. Our new name – Eisenhower Health – reflects this focus, and the progress we have made as a team. Eisenhower Health provides a range of state-of-art diagnostic, treatment and emergency facilities at convenient locations throughout the Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Palm Desert and La Quinta CA areas. Eisenhower Medical Center is known for our outstanding patient education lectures, speaker programs, special events and support groups. Dedicated in 1971, Eisenhower Medical Center is named in honor of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who lived part time in the Coachella Valley in retirement. As the valley’s only not-for-profit hospital, Eisenhower Medical Center has provided high quality, compassionate care for more than 40 years through a full range of state-of-the-art diagnostic, treatment and emergency facilities. Eisenhower is an accredited teaching hospital, with a School of Graduate Medical Education and Research training new physicians in the specialties of family medicine and internal medicine.

One of the hallmarks of Eisenhower’s reputation as a premier health care system is the significant financial support provided by a broad base of generous donors.
